Facility Request Module
Facility Request is the module that allows users to work with Work Requests / Service Requests. This on-line, browser based system interacts with the back end database and the Enterprise email system (Lotus Notes or Microsoft Exchange) or through POP account setups.
There are 3 distinct levels of users in Facility Request:
- Administrators
- Craftsman
- Requesters
Administrators
The administrative user can set up permission and usage for other users and groups. They can also specify how the application will notify (email notification) users as actions are taken.
Craftsman
Craftsman have different duties as they not only can fill out work requests, but they can specify what work was performed upon a work request. They can track time, resources, parts and more with this tool. Additionally, the Facility Request module can be set up to work on a hand-held device as well.
Requesters
Requesters are the lowest level customers of Facility Request. They are set up to be able to see only their Requests that have been entered as well as any interaction that the administrator allows them to see. In many cases, we have customized Facility Request for clients to adhere to even tighter requirements and to simplify the process even further.
